What is a Hack-a-thon?

The Hack-a-thon is an Amazon-centric, deep-dive masterclass and summit where participants work closely with Amazon insiders and experts on the latest best practices and strategies needed to succeed on the fastest growing eCommerce platform in the world. At the Hack-a-thon, attendees will be placed in non-compete, breakout groups and work with our instructors on a variety of topics ranging from 1P vs 3P to Winning Content. The goal of the Hack-a-thon is not for you to listen to a lecture, it is to provide you with a working session with topical experts.

Chris Perry – VP of Outreach, PlanetRetail RNG and One Click Retail

Chris Perry has led the e-commerce strategy, organization and capabilities, and activation across Reckitt Benckiser, WellPet and Kellogg's, generating $350MM+ in profitable revenue growth, 1000's of bps in online share leadership and collaborative joint partnerships with over 25+ top e-retailers. At Kellogg's, he and his team empowered Kelloggs' brands to catalyze e-commerce as their #1 competitive advantage and path to long-term growth and market leadership. Perry recently joined PlanetRetail RNG and One Click Retail where he will continue to empower change in the world of e-commerce and beyond.


Andrea Leigh – Vice President, Ideoclick

Andrea Leigh is the VP of Client Services at Ideoclick, a managed services firm that helps manufacturers set and analyze winning, sustainable strategies on Amazon, overseeing Account Management, Catalog Services, Advisory, and Content.  Prior to joining Ideoclick, she co-founded Leigh & Burdick and AKL Consulting, where she advised brands on their Amazon.com strategy.  She is a 10-year former senior executive at Amazon in their retail business, where she led over 15 product categories, worked on the launch of Amazon's automated pricing system and CRaP programs, and ran the Amazon Prime program for Amazon.ca, working with over 10K manufacturers and hiring hundreds of Amazon employees.  She is a regular speaker at conferences, gives trainings on working with Amazon, and writes on various topics related to Ecommerce.  When she’s not living and breathing Amazon, she spends her time playing the piano and keeping up with her three elementary-schoolers.


Spencer Millerberg – Founder, One Click Retail

Spencer Millerberg is the Founder of One Click Retail, a market leader in eCommerce data measurement, sales analytics and search optimization for brand manufacturers globally. The company provides eCommerce sales, market share, SEO, advertising ROI, and more, for over 100+ of the world’s best brands such as Procter & Gamble, Panasonic, Nestle, Hamilton Beach and HP. One Click Retail was recently acquired by Ascential plc.

Prior to One Click Retail, Spencer had spent 15+ years at Fortune 500 companies in brick-and-mortar retail (Walmart), e-commerce (Amazon), consumer goods (Black & Decker), and more. At Amazon, Spencer led the Health & Personal Care buying team and was core to programs including Subscribe & Save, Amazon Mom, and Prime Pantry. At Walmart, Spencer worked in Marketing and Private brand – including launching the “Marketside” brand, now Walmart’s 3rd largest private brand (second to Great Value and Equate) with over $1.6 B / year in sales. Spencer holds a BA (International Finance - 2002) and MBA (Marketing - 2006) from BYU.


Patrick Miller – CEO, Flywheel Digital

Patrick Miller, Co-Founder of Flywheel Digital, helps leading CPG and hardline clients achieve digital sales, brand, and supply chain goals.   An expert in constructing and translating Amazon for large organizations Patrick has lead engagements for clients including Procter & Gamble, Hershey’s, Glanbia, and 3M to figure out how best to work with and through Amazon and solve for the unique needs of the platform.


Boren Novakovic – Managing Director, PlanetRetail RNG

Boren Novakovic is the Managing Director of One Click Retail and PlanetRetail RNG, leading the integration of Ascential plc’s eCommerce Solutions.  Prior to his current role, Boren was Head of eCommerce and Digital for Kimberly Clark EMEA, driving growth through digital transformation based out of London. He joined KC in 2012 to lead the global eCommerce growth initiative where he has built KC’s eCommerce business, strategy, organization, and capabilities across 30 countries and 6 continents, making Kimberly Clark one of the CPG leaders in the space.  

Prior to KC Boren spent 12 years at Whirlpool Corporation, as head of North America eCommerce and direct to consumer business and Global Digital and Technology Strategy lead. He also held leadership roles in customer service, supply chain, strategy, M&A and product development.


Melissa Burdick – President, Pacvue

Melissa Burdick is the President of Pacvue, a fast-growing technology and services agency focused in e-commerce retail. Throughout her career, Melissa has been consulting with brands on Amazon for many years.  Prior to Leigh & Burdick, Melissa was Vice-President of e-Commerce at the Mars Agency, where she advised brands on effective Marketing on Amazon, and as a Senior Consultant at Accenture, focusing on advertising, merchandising, and business strategy.  Melissa has 10 years of experience with Amazon.com where she helped launch the Consumables, Prestige Beauty, and Advertising businesses, structuring the early strategy for the retail health & beauty business and launching over 300 CPG manufacturers from P&G to Burt’s Bees. She also developed Amazon’s advertising programs, creating the first ecommerce ads and sponsorships for all of Amazon’s programs (Amazon Mom, Student, and Studios to name a few). She now advises brands with their ecommerce strategies, specifically marketing and designing for online profitably and with success.
